Elders Forestry Management Limited began in 1991 with the establishment of eucalypt pulpwood plantations in the south-west of Western Australia.
Today, Elders Forestry manages over 170,000 hectares of plantations in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland on behalf of retail, wholesale and corporate investors.
Harvesting of the earliest plantings commenced in July 2004, with harvesting now fully operational in both the Bunbury and Albany regions.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Elders Forestry is committed to the active management of the its environmental responsibilities.
Elders Forestry was the first retail funded forestry manager to achieve the internationally recognised Forest Stewardship Council (TM) Certification (FSC) for its plantations in Southern Australia.
Elders Forestry also holds the environmental certification standard IS0 14001 for management of its plantation estate.
MANAGEMENT PLANS
Summary forestry management plans are available for viewing upon request for the following regions:
- South West WA (Albany and Esperance)
- Green Triangle (South East Sout Australia and South West Victoria)
- Sandalwood regions of Kununurra and Far North Queensland
Each plantation also has its own individual property management plan.

WOOD PROCUREMENT POLICY
Elders Forestry supply both FSC certified and controlled wood for the export market.
Elders Forestry's policy on controlled wood distributed through the Port of Albany is available for public viewing.
