Complaints - Managed Investment Schemes

Elders Forestry seeks to resolve potential and actual complaints over the management of the Project to the satisfaction of investors. If an investor wishes to discuss any aspect of the management of the Project or wishes to lodge a formal complaint please write to:

Elders Forestry Management Limited (Elders FM) and APT Projects Limited (APT) will seek to resolve any complaint on the spot. If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can ask to have the matter referred to Elder's Compliance Department.

You will receive a letter acknowledging your complaint and given an estimated turnaround time. We aim to resolve all complaints as quickly as possible.

If you are still unhappy with the steps taken by Elders FM or APT to resolve the complaint, or with the result of our review, you may refer the matter to an external dispute resolution scheme of which Elders FM and APT are a member. Elders FM and APT are members of the:

Complaints about Privacy

If you wish to make a complaint about Elders Forestry’s privacy practices we request that you first contact us (see below) with the details of your complaint. Elders Forestry undertakes that your complaint will be investigated diligently and our response provided to you as soon as reasonably practicable.

However, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) either in the first instance or, if you feel Elders Forestry has not handled your complaint adequately.

Since 1 November 2010 the OAIC has incorporated the functions previously performed by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

The OIAC has complaint handling responsibilities under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). You can complain to the OAIC if you believe that your privacy has been interfered with by an Australian, ACT or Norfolk Island government agency, or a private sector organisation covered by the Privacy Act. A complaint to the OIAC should preferably be made in writing, but staff within the OAIC can assist and can be contacted on Ph 1300 363 992. Alternatively, you may wish to make an online complaint utilising the OIAC’s online complaints form.
